Chad Staheli

Prior to starting Philo, Chad launched and managed Vere Capital, a family office focused on early stage investments. Before entering private equity, Chad served as General Counsel for National Surgical Hospitals, ultimately supporting acquisition of the entity by Bain Capital. Chad has a passion for early to mid-stage enterprises, having founded and operated a number of successful ventures over the past 15 years. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, a PhD in leadership from Brigham Young University, and a JD from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School. When not pursuing entrepreneurial ventures, Chad enjoys whitewater rafting, yard work, aviation, and spending time with his wife and five children.
